Overview

Replace paper passes with digital permits. Residents request from the app; concierge issues; security validates. Enforces per-unit and per-month limits automatically.

Step-by-step

  1. Resident requests a pass with plate number, dates, and visitor name.
  2. Concierge approves (or auto-approve if rules allow).
  3. The pass appears on the active list with start/end times.
  4. Security can scan a plate to verify in seconds.
  5. Expired passes drop off automatically.

Settings & permissions

Admins configure: max nights per month per unit, blackout dates, watchlist plates, auto-approval rules.

Each building has its own pass rules.

Notifications

Resident receives confirmation when issued; reminder before expiry.

Reports & exports

Volume by unit, abuse list (units repeatedly hitting limits), watchlist hits.

Troubleshooting

  • Plate already in use. Two requests overlap — contact the earlier requester.
  • Resident over limit. Manager can override with a note.
